The situation was bad, but it just got worse. Donald Trump (barring some crazy situation) will be our next President. While demographic groups throughout the country grapple with what that means for them personally (women, immigrants, muslims, LGBTQ) them and everyone else are also left to wonder what that means for our environment. Let me help: we're fucked.

The best analogy is the death march. Being held at gun point, starved, abused and beaten along the way. Those that can't keep up are executed in front of the rest. Whether the analogy applies to Earth marching toward its demise or all of us is one in the same.
